Berry stained red silk
On creamy cold cheeks
Her gold locks shining
In the smoked dusk light.
The grey cobbled streets
Splashed with sizzled dreams
Piper's eerie tune
Brings the moon alive.
Clutching hot chocolate
In ceramic mugs
They throw dried flowers
In her frostbitten lap.
One with bright blue eyes
Hands her a red rose
He lifts her pale chin,
To warm her waiting lips --
And spring comes to Paris.
Je t'aime.
Author notes
I usually write rhyming poetry..
But I decided to try something different.
Ohhh and for those who don't know French.. "Je t'aime" means "I love you".
Well hope this is okayishhh
