22 And Still Lonely

Alone in tbis world i am
A 22 year old lonely man
The nights are dark and cold
I sit here with no one to hold
Everywhere i look, all i see
Are people living together happily
No trace of pain in their face
Lonliness, they do not taste.

Every day turns out the same
The days are long and do not cahnge
I have to abide by the rules of life
And carry on up the path it decides
I have nobody in which to confide
Nobody with me by my side
the nights return, as i lie in bed
With no girl, only my shadow instead.

The promise of a girl i still search for
The whisper of her love i still yearn for
I only wish i could find someone out there
But as i search, i'm still without her
Every night the sun does set
Leaving behind a landscape of regrets
I'm 22 and oh so very lonely
Won't somebody out there please hold me?!?!?!?

    this is very good. i like the emotion it in. this is how i feel a lot of the time. very good. keep up the good work. by the way i found one miss spelled word "cahnge" i think is suppose to be change. keep it up.

    well written

    aww this is so cute and sad

    from a poetry perspective, i'm glad this rhymed the whole way through. a lot of people get too carried away by their emotions when they write something this honest and forget all about the form of the poem haha but seriously i really enjoyed reading this. my favorite lines are "But as i search, i'm still without her" and "leaving behind a landscape of regrets" is so touching and painful at the same time.

    from a human being stance all we can do is continue on with everything else we have going for us and hopefully someday you'll find that person you've been yearning for right in front of you

    their are some spelling erorrs but who am i to say antthing happens to me all the time any ways just so you dont feel so aone their are other people out their that feel the same way as you do dont worry it normal i guess dont worry
