She's A Shooting Star

These transparencies for eyes,
screaming at me now,
calling to me from afar,

wind blowing at her hair,
strands of chaos across her face,
she's running from the moon's sweet song,
racing the wind of the night,

we'll never know where she is going,
to us she's just a shooting star,
another face in the hall,
the girl we'll never know.
