framed in divine aura,
feathers touched with grace
her midnight gown of sapphire
and the pureness on her face
mother always told me
that they had a special touch of love
and I knew deep within my heart
as I felt it from above
her eyes spoke ever so soft
even with the gentle weep of tears
that heaven was the place she found
and has watched me through the years
she smiled soft and blew a kiss
then told me everytime I pray
her spcial gift- a mother's love
was with me every single day

There is something so sad, yet so hopeful in this. I find it truly touching and something that plays on a lot of thoughts lately with all that is going on. I can only hope I don't have to go there for a while. An excellent write to match that picture.
