Walking through the isles of the pet shop,
Looking for it,
Got to have it.
I have to persuade Mum,
It's what I want and that's that.
She told me I couldn't have it,
But I don't care,
She said she had alergies,
Ah well, I don't.
I pick it up as I go past...
I told you to put that down",
Oh, but Muuum"
"Aaaachhhoooo"
"Take that disgusting fur ball away"
At that moment the cat leaps away,
and out the door,
Oh dear, Mum says I have to pay for it with my pocket money.

i really really like this poem. it reminded me of my not so long ago childhood. (i'm 22) this write has a very whimsical nature about it that just made me happy while i was reading it. i remember one time i tried to braid the snakes, man did i ever get in trouble for that one. thanks so much for entering and best of luck in the contest.
