Maybe I should write you a love poem
Then bathe it in silk and pettles
There is will nest until you're brave enough
To trust there are no thorns

Let me write you a free verse
Where rhyme with line doesnt care
Because nothing in this song is perfect
Like a mocking bird with it's evil stare

Let me sing you a lullaby
To sooth you off to sleep
Where I can talk to you
Then you can hear
What I really have to speak
