Paths of Eternity

Embedded in the corner of my mind
resides and Eden
a place before time was
an existence of purity and white

A place where we were born
in the spirit he and I
coming from one soul
fathered by all that was
in that image
we then did become

days unnumbered
continuous
endless
spent in the company of each other
molding a destiny
to be as one eternal
gaining progression
first estates rewarded

It was he that held my hand
as I received a push
into this new and foreign land
he promising his presence
beside me not far behind
we storing our creation
in that place of our minds

My journey began
and then his too
in a pack we traveled
stopping here  and there
sometimes close behind
searching
with a memory of the other
back from our time

When at last
In the requiem of dreams
our eyes appear
one to the other
remembrance
recognition
knowing we had and will always
in that Eden of eternity
return together forever
