The simple questions that you ask
with an innocence I can't afford
yet,they are not as simple
as they seem to be.
I tell you about myself
You seem to be listening
But still you believe
what you have been made to see.
An incomplete story
walks off my desk
I deem to go, but you say
its not meant to leave.
There is a thin line
between these hallucinations and dreams.
I built them, its true
but now they have been passed on to me.
Instigating, and underestimating
the reason that ceased to exist
for falling in, and then falling out
or not so, maybe.
At night or whenever, I fall asleep.
listening to that song,
I hope, that when you do,
you think of me.
