"I Am The Son Of Satan" (6 July 2008)

"I Am The Son Of Satan" (6 July 2008)

I Am The Son Of Satan
I Say This And You Automatically Judge Me
As If I Had The Choice Of How I Became To Be
As If I Chosen To Be So Ugly
Nothing I Do Will Change Your Minds
I Can Show You All The Signs
I Can Show You All The Different Kinds
You Think I Like The Stones Being Thrown?
You Think I Like The Horns On My Crown?
You Think I Like Your Words Holding Me Down?
How Would You Feel Knowing No One Will Ever Love You?
Knowing No One Will Ever Want To?
Knowing The Bleakness Of Your World So Cruel?
How Can I Accept The Fact?
How Can I Get Over That?
How Can You Call Me Evil? Call Me Bad?
Ridicule Me As You Please
Call Me The Wicked Black Seed
But Who Are You To Place Deem?
Who Are You To Judge Me?
You Are No Better Than I
When My Only Turpitude Is My Birthright
The Son Of Satan As If It's What I Like
Just Because I Am So Different
I Just Want To Be Accepted
Rather Than Pushed Away And Hated
An Evil Demon You Label Me
Yes, A Demon Even More Lonely
But A Demon Of Unalloyed Quality.
The Son Of The Devil I May Be
But You My Friend Are Just As Evil As He

Justin Michael Milani

  • Interesting write, I can here the frustration of being judged for simply being, and the torment it can cause. I am not sure if this was written on Jul 6th or if it signifies a birthday of the son of satan. I must confess, my birthday IS July 6th, and sometimes I feel exactly as this poem states. Alot of my poems have a "don't judge me, you fool" kind of theme to them as well, so this poem hits a soft spot with me. Remember that satan was the most beautiful of angels, and the most loved by God, that always reminds me not to judge others. Thank you for sharing this one, I'm bookmarking it!

In my own personal oppinion, we must learn to love Satan, and what he is to us, a teacher of our own hearts, to then be able to truely have unconditional love, and be worthy of perfection. - just a thought.

    • that is the day i finished it, and happy early bday. I'm glad you liked it. I do appreciate your words. Thanks a lot

God made you and he loves you. What ever you stuck in He can get you out. You are not a son of satan and ou have he power to rebuke him through the name of Jesus Christ. Don't let the devil torment you with feelings of loneliness. I pray that you may find him like I have, that he fills you with never ending joy as people don't shun you but ebrace you as a fellow human being.

    • The poem is mainly about how others judge off the bat, like once most people read the title they think it only contains something so evil. The idea came to me in a dream and just conjured up previous feelings of lonliness and questions of why are certain people cast aside from certain connections. Even outside religious groups too, there comes much judging from within. Thats a whole different topic though and probably isnt suitable for allpoetry. A famous buddhist quote states "if you see someone you consider a good person, examine him. If you see someone you consider a bad person, examine yourself". i do appreciate your kind words though. Thanks for the read.
