Forbidden to Remember ,Terrifed to Forget

Tears roll down
at the thought of you
I can feel my heart break
everytime I think you name
I have to hold myself together
trying not to fall apart
because falling apart is not an option
In my mind I  tell myself
I will get better
maybe not happy,but better
trying not to remember him
his smell
his face
the way he looked at me
but terrified to forget
the way i felt with him
how he could make my heart
go faster by just being near me
and then he left
I was not good enough for him
not interesting ,not smart
not amazingly beautiful,like him
I keep all the memories i have of him
locked in a box
I forbid myself to remember him
but I'm terrified to forget

Its like you truly captured bellas very though when edward left her. He left her broken beyond belief but I'm glad that they found they're way back. But anyway great write I love it

i loved the two last lines in this poem ... how true they were to Bella's state of mind - I thought that that second book was so excellently written, when Edward left her, Stephanie Meyer managed to capture her turmoil, her emotionless state - losing the will to live so ... effectively!

And you've brought all that triggering back for me, so you achieved YOUR purpose too! One small correction, in the title, I believe it should be 'Forbidden'
