Her Smile

Her friendly gaze became a smile, then we laughed and chatted for a while,
said she I’d  usually run a mile, from one night stands, but I like your style.
I only live a mile or so from here, my fridge just heaves, with cans of beer,

I hesitated but a moment longer, my feelings for her were getting stronger.
the taxi dropped us at the door, thought who could ever ask for more,
I downed the fifth can of ice cold beer, thinking Christmas is earlier this year.

After we’d eaten all the toast came an announcement from our friendly host,
she said it’s multiple choice best out of three, granma’s willing but she’s 93.
I’m a gay transvestite and fancy free, and my mother’s just been told she’s H.I.V..

    Very funny poem and I laughed really hard. Sounds like his multiple choice was not very good at all. Instead of Christmas I think perhaps he had April's fool played on him lol. Good luck in the contest and thanks for entering. Good job. Have a nice day.
