Could Be (original)

I could be
lying there in his bed with him,
his arms around me,
his b r e a t h
in my ear,
his masculinity pressed
against my inner thighs

extravagant promises
brushing away my cares

his hold like a  FORTRESS

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

He could be
brushing my hair through
his hands,
brushing my cheek with his
fingertips,
his skin warming my own
clinging like a raging fever

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

We could be
tangled together
pressed between the sheets
hearts racing in perpetual motion
making love like it had been
waiting... for us to find each other,
and intertwine

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Addiction clinging to
silky whispers
in the shelter of the
darkness....

your SCENT enveloping me
in a haze of
fiery mirage

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

I could be
beside him,
holding him and caressing his chest
rubbing his skin

He could be
behind me,
hands around my waist
fingers exploring
lips clinging to my neck
teeth grazing my skin
tingling

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

two become one
under the silver moon
together
embracing the love we share
our love

been waiting so long
for this moment, finally
reaching the stars
and beyond ---
together

holding hands,
holding hearts,
sold souls

laughing
touching
holding
kissing
loving

we fit perfectly in each other
complimenting opposites

he fills my empty soul
soothes my aching heart
reaches out to touch my depths
and heal me
