Anger disillusioned her senses as she marched around
With pride that wasn't fitting, but she had it anyways
Try as she might, the world came crumbling down all
Around her, yet she faced it as if it were nothing, until....
Until the day she started chasing home and couldn't

That would never be seen for the beauty she was and...
Try as she might, all the wishes upon a beaming star could
Do nothing for this girl, who couldn't find herself in this world..
Yet hope and determination kept her going, and although her
Darkness was consuming, she wouldn't let the light be gone
But the fact remained she was chasing home, and the sad part
Of this all was that she was home all along, but she couldn't see
See past that agony that was called her life, and she kept on looking
For that place she kept on chasing, she just wanted a something..
Something to call her own, where she could be safe away from the
Harm and where her children could roam freely without that fear...
So she kept on chasing home, and wouldn't settle til she found it, yet
She has it, right here, it's being offered to her, yet she can't even see it
Darling, just keep on looking, and searching, and one day you'll see that
