Memories not forsaken, but mind set ablaze with fury at the thought;
"I didnt say goodbye."
Every piece of my mind dances around the tantalizing thoughts of you,
harassing my brain into becoming a paranoid.
Evaporating sanity becomes a cloud,
and rains on my hypnotic hallucinations of your eyes.
Into a water-stained pillow I tremble and pulsate,
on this dark weekend of isolation from the holder of my heart.
I code whimpers and tears with fake sneezes,
to create an allergic accuse for watery cheeks and sniffling.
Love is pain, regret is pain,
and pain is something I know far too well.

Lovely take on the prompt of the word bank. You did great with meaning and feeling, flow, rhythm and metaphors. Keep on penning. You will go far with your wriiting. Awesome job.

Short and sweet. Nice. I found some of the wordbank words sounded like they were forced into the poem and didn't flow properly. I like where you went with them though. Sounds like you've had a rough time.
