When the shells dance,
they turn turquoise.
When the ocean listens,
they turn rust.
When the sand twinkles,
they turn aqua.
When the seagulls cry,
they turn hazel.
When the rocks shudder,
they turn mauve.
When the dolphins shine,
they turn daffodil.

A very beautiful poem, with strong imagery and good use of parallel (repeated) structure. You seem to have a natural poetic talent.
Congratulations on the Honorable Mention.

A really lovely write, quite lyrical. Congrats on the HM.

Delightful!!!
My goodness, this is fabulous for someone so young, and even for someone much older. I could barely write my name when I was your age. You seem to have inherited your Mom's marvelous poetic eyes and ears.
Congratulations on winning the trophy, and thanks for sharing this wonderful poem.

I love the beginning of shells dancing. The weaving of colours hold meaning too as they are paired with different elements. I did feel the ending seems unfininshed. Clever, how you infer much
with so few words. Blue
