Hit and Run

The airs escaping my lungs collapsing
I'm dieing (again)
Being hit harder and harder
Everything moving at supernatural speed
There and then gone again
Coughing up a bloody broken heart
A whirlwind romance
Broken before it truly began
The names and faces
The makes and models
Words and license plates
Their the only things that changes
They all play the same game
The same sick and twisted
Love and Leave
Hit and Run
Make me believe that maybe
I can love again
Trust again
Live again
Make me believe I can have a happily ever after
Then tear it all away
Leave me with nothing but bitter tears and regret
Watching their red tail lights speeding down the streets
While bright headlights rush in from the opposite direction
Moving quickly so I won't be able to step out of the way
Doesn't matter, everywhere I turn is another heartbreak
Ready and waiting
Impossible to escape
Kill
Me
Again
And
Run

Author notes

I don't know why but while I was writing i just kept seeing the girl in teh middle of i guess a desert or maybe some type of arena with sand billowing everywhere. And all these cars were racing around her and quicker then the eye can see she was being hit over and over. Her dark hair flying it's pony tail and she's just crumpled on the floor crying out and everything. But I couldn't see the ending so it still feels incomplete to me so sorry the ending isn't quite complete. I'll keep working on it.
