Today the lamp glows dim
i need you the most

the smoke that engulfs my blood
slackens my mind
and leaves me weary of this form
of existence

void of thoughts, feelings
alone in the dark like never before

I live not for myself, but for you
and hence have you forgotten me?
Is this the truth of our friendship?

bereft of all love
a vagabond in the sands of time
tormented by the curse of reminiscence
perpetually undermined by the winds of change

    A deep piece, filled with sadness and a little confusion. I know how this feels and it truly does suck. Friendship.. can last a lifetime, however it is very rare for it to do so. I enjoyed the repitition, it fit very well.
