I was at McDonalds
eating alone,
When suddenly I was disturbed,
by a drunk man
and his tone.

His tone was loud
mean and unkind,
I asked him to leave me alone
and stop wasting my time.

He wouldn't leave
and I felt I should stay,
because he said I was attractive,
I felt that he might follow my way.

He started calling me names and wouldn't leave me alone,
I just wanted to get up and leave,
I wanted to go home!

He started threatening me,
and calling me names,
I started shaking in shock,
for I felt like I was returning to my past again.

He then began to throw food at me,
I didn't even know why,
I wanted to throw something back at him,
but all I could do was cry!

Inside I was screaming
for someone to help me,
he said he was going to punch my head in
and let everyone see!

Finally the police came
and I felt safe,
they got hold of him
and took the man away.

I gave my statement,
and the staff came to apologize 
I was shaking in shock,
I wanted to go and hide.

So I later left,
and ran my way home,
I wanted my man
and I didn't want to be alone.

He just watched me
as I cried on the bed,
he then asked me,
"You sure this isn't in your head?!"

The reason he asked me
was because it always happens to me when I'm alone,
If only he had come to protect me
and sit all day at home...

But yes it really did happen
and im still in shock,
even though you weren't there to protect me Resul,
I still love you lots.
