This is a poem called a change of time,
its been so long, it might not rhyme.
3 years since I logged into here,
3 years of hell and fear.....
not to mention the countless tears.
2006 just another year
I got married, made a home,
2007 got divorced and left alone.
My step dad passed away from diabetes
meet another guy that wasn't right,
he left to, but I was alright.
2008 was really a haze,
got knocked up and thats where I am today.
I tried faith, I tried hope, failure is what was left.
Now im almost 23, divorced with a 5 year old and baby to be.
fatherless, living in a hotel. my son, me and soon enough baby Austin lee
yet I keep fighting, for a brighter day
a day when I can look back and say a change of time.
