Searching for Sagacity

In storm gray eyes
you hold the sea,
turbulent skies,
and all of me.

Behind those eyes
no treachery,
nor false disguise
could ever be.

For in those eyes
rests solemnly
will to apprise
sagacity.

And in those eyes
though storms may be,
still there lies
tranquility.

For storm grey eyes
Are brought to see
That wisdom thrives
In amity.

Author notes

This isn't my best work, it's more emotive than sensory, but here it is none-the-less...

Oh, I think it is brilliant! a twice potent write here, you have used those short lines wonderfully well! Just an excellent poem! I loved, loved, loved it!

  • Oh it sings and moves! The rhytmn absolutely dances with the meaning!

  • "though storms may be,
    still there lies
    tranquility."

Very well written Danny, its not the same as what you usually write, but I liked it.
Its very pretty and I loved the words you choose, always sophisticated.

  • It may not be your best work but its still pretty good. A really tranquil and emotional write, creates that sense of peace. It has a really beautiful flow to it.
