Chargin 'round the paddock,
speed at full bolt,
he loves to chase the others-
my little chestnut colt.
Needs to learn some manners,
don't think he'll learn much;
he's an outgoing little fellow,
at only 4 and a 1/2 months.
He thinks he is a stallion,
with a paddock full of mares,
but he turns their noses up,
'cause 'bout him they don't care.
Rejection he takes well;
he'll be a stallion in a few years,
and this little bunch of mares,
yes, they'll all be his!
He dreams about this day.
He can't wait for it to come.
Now all he has to worry 'bout,
is getting weaned from mum!
