A single rose i brought to you
just to see you smile once again
staring down like you dont know who i am anymore
I lean in slowly and gently kiss you on the cheek
whisper in your ear that i love you so very much
i slide the rose into your hand
and start to walk away
i get 10 feet down the street
before my feet fly out from under me
and i fall flat on my face
turning over i see her there grining
she says to me that she loves me too
i lean up to her ear and whisper
"see it only takes A Single Rose to change someones life"
that was the day we met
and all it took

This was a sweet poem. It really made me warm inside when you go into detail about whispering in her ear and the gentle kiss on her cheek. I love how you put a cute little turn on the situation with the random unexpected fall. Great write. It is amazing what a single rose can do.
