I have no tattoos on myself and have never really thought of getting one but for whatever reason it made me think, does love leave a lasting impression similar to a tattoo?

Love leaves a trace of its existence upon our skin, yes. A weaving of memories, whispering of their presence in our lives. One need not pierce one's flesh to know this, nor leave a scar to remind us of the fragile perfume left behind.
