“A Candle”
A candle is at its brightest right before it flickers away
This is what I am going through now, I am that candle
The light I am living in is short coming for it won’t last
This is why I now wear white to show the light
This is the last time people may ever hear of me
The last time I may write a poem but...
I enjoyed the Life I lived even though it was filled with malice
There are some people which I wish I had never met but
There are also people that I have met that I am glad I did
In the end I can’t help what fate has in store for
It has had a plan for me since the moment I was born
Even Though I wish for my death inside of me there is still a small ray of hope
That keeps burning strong, it wants me to live
The future hold’s many mysteries and I want to see them with my eyes
I am a candle that is about to extinguish from this world
There is nothing that can save me now
So I leave this world with just one thing to say
“Discord, hatred, sadness, pain there’s an emotion that could stop all that, it is love”
So I take my leave, my finally farewell
I hope you keep your life will lit
And never be like me and lose your way
Choose your path and never look back no matter what happens
