Lucky, Lucky, Lucky, Here Boy!
I guess Lucky is my name
Chasing cars and kitty-cats
Is my favorite games
I don't know how I got here
And I don't really care
What I'd really like to be in life
Is a grizzly bear, grrrrrrrr
I dig for bones most anywhere
Flower-beds are the coolest spots
But gardens run close behind
I just run from all the shots. pow pow
I'm just a little bitty dog
But I can bark real loud
But when I bark at those darn birds
They fly up in the clouds
OUCH! I have an itchy
Back there on my hairy butt
It's a flea, but I can reach it
'Cause I'm a simple mutt
I love it when you scratch my guts
Especially way down low
It gets me in the mood for something
What,,?? I do not know
What's that smell I'm smelling?
It's coming from that dog house
I'm getting all excited
I think I need a spouse!
Here comes that old mail-man
Watch me chase him down, he-he
I'll growl and yip and snap my teeth
Till all the mail is on the ground
What's that crap he's spraying?
Right into my face!
Crips my eyes are itching
Could that be doggy mace?
I yip-yip and yap-yap
I drool and I pout
But YIP my name is lucky
But has my luck run out?

I clicked in this thinking it was a poem to go along with the pictures of your precious granddaughter...oh sweetie...she is gorgeous...and I mean absolutely precious. Of course you think so granny...but she REALLY IS!!!!!!

Okay, this reminds me of my dog. He is extremely hyper, and I think that if he could talk, it would be something like this. Great job at speaking from the dog's perspective. This made me laugh a lot, so thank you for entering the contest, and good luck! Josh

This caught my attention as I once had a dog called Lucky and I smiled reading. I enjoyed the personality and character of the dog bringing this write to life.. giving a carefree view from a dog's perspective.
