~Succubus~

When solid steel slopes sideways, becomes beached
on shores of your soul, I steal away hope
that coats your road. No chances can be reached
with this worry you have rode. So you grope
for some slim salvation, something impeached
by sum of fears forcefully fed with rope.
Hangman’s scene as seen by baying crowd,
subtle by the side as they sighed aloud.

Don’t dally in depths of resigned role,
release and roll along with wanton will,
the more falsified faith that fills your bowl,
more I sense these cravings calling; you will fulfil,
and how scents assault this sorrowful soul
in sighs that clog and fill this empty hole,
and the rows that rose to pay their respect
don’t really realise they are my next subject.
