Not Afraid To Die

I told myself i'm not scared,
not scared of what's on the otherside.
I taught myself not to care,
and I will never contemplate suicide.
and i'm not afraid.
Not afraid to die.

I'm not afraid to try,
to see what's on the otherside.
Not afraid to cry,
for all those times that I lied.
And despite the things i've been through,
i'll still never be afraid to die.

I'll walk away from death
and you can to.
Don't be afraid of him,
and put a stop to what's killing you.
But even you shouldn't be afraid to die.

To those who read this-
never be scared to die.
beacsue it'll always be better-
on the otherside.

Explains how I feel about death, inspired but a song i was listening to.

    i relate so much to this poem it is very well written and expresses much. i agree no one should fear death, we should all welcome it with open doors.

      yeah me too, I hope it's quick and painless, I'd hate for a slow death, but like my poem states I will not be afraid of it regardless. thanx for the comment.
