Totally measmerizing,
elegant---one wants to get lost
in the shapes! The efffect is so pleasing
to the eye, but the concept of the dark side
hints of disturbances. The final "wow" touch,
the balck dot---the perfect element!.

A darkening of yin would throw the engeries completely off balance and manifest all sorts of problems.
I see much more here than just an incredible graphic. You express the concept brilliantly, I love the cataract-like effect blocking the center on the yang side to the subtle shading or striping on the yin side.
Dark yin immediately leads me to think of clouds blocking the the sun, which reflects in the gray background you used.
You must have put a lot of thought into this.
