If you push me, I push you back,
who is strong?
If I disagree with you,
who is wrong?
There is but one path to peace,
this is true.
Do not let your emotions
govern you.
When pain has come,
and rage is what you hold;
you lose yourself,
your values you have sold.
If you stand among the current,
come what may;
stand firm in the moment
and obey.
Positive will balance out
the wrong,
accept and embrace;
be strong.
Love is the narrow
path to peace,
Hate ushers in the wrath
that will not cease.

Balance comes when we accept life, when we are in control of our emotions.
when we are not led by anger or the need to be right.

At first peace is a balancing act on a slippery slope as tomatoes are thrown at us...that is until we let go of our dependency upon anger and other addictive emotions.
