There is no king, only notoriously self grandizing
families bent on world domination at everybody
else's expence.
Love could cure everything if we weren't
being constantly massacred by its predecessor
Teachers teach everyone that will bear witness
for free, because it's the right thing to do.
Time is an invention superimposed upon you
to create fear, and an overall sense of impending
disasters to chronicle.
Stars are heavenly bodies to perceive, and navigate
by through the darkness of confusion; not human
beings that collect more money than you will ever
possess acting in ways that are merely repetitive.
God is no more ancient or omnipresent than light,
or the lack there of.
Life is no accident that can be covered
by any insurances
Friends are relationships that you have earned
by giving more than you need
Parents are all of the above for better or for worse
Nature is what lies between you, and spirit(s)
Gifts are choices that bear fruit and sustain being
Not wrapped lists of wishes and materials
Soul is eternal without memory,
A record of memories let go
Death is the only dream you will not wake up from,
Because you were never sleeping
Children are you looking at you
From the only vantage point available
Flesh is food, and thought and structure
collapsing in all directions to provide
Dreams are dogma and illusion telling you
to stop believing in dogmas and illusions
The night is no blanket
The sun barely fire
The ocean hardly wet
The desert empty living
Mountains all worth climbing
Intelligence is part genetic, part hard work,
But wisdom has never been cheaper
Please tell me what you think

The price of wisdom varies. The results usually come in the form of proper spelling and good grammer. This was not always the case, but here I think it applies.
Sloppy compilation of what I'm guessing is an anthology of poems not wrapped up in any way shape or form in the end, excepting that it matched the title.
I'm going to print this out, integrate it into some oatmeal...and shit it down the road on the beach...maybe at least then it will somehow be of value...assuming I ingest all of the ink...
yeah...it's a sacrifice.
No, it's not worth it.
Yes, I like you that much. I'll do it.
(There are some good snippets here, but much garbage to wade through.)

eh, wrong on almost all counts.
It's a color by numbers project
for a refrigerator magnet. -

Why do I always have to be so far off base? As much as I'd love to blame Jesus or aliens, I'll just go with Hitler. Fucking Hitler. The nazis want us all dumb as a bag of rocks so they can win. All I see when I look around is more evidence of their success.

ENLIGHTENING!**** THOUGHTS

wow not what i was exspecting that at all the end is so true that should be one of the most famous statements in the world " Intelligence is part genetics, part hard work, But wisdom has never been cheaper."

A string of thoughs that weave themselves together into something more. How wonderful. The only part that bothered me was "thee" in line 21. Did you mean "the"? Very well written. Buff

Great thoughts!
Friends are relationships that you have earned
by giving more than you need - so true! Well written! Liked it a lot!

Your commentary on God and death are the highlights of the piece for me. I really was struck when I read those stanzas.
