Illustrations of a world without pain
Haunt every wall of this city
Desperate voices singing out in shame
Filling sacred ground and gaining no pity
Take the innocents and place their hearts to sleep
Why not protect those only receiving harm
By the dawn all sweet dreams will be complete
And all the fallen will be laced in lies and charm
Here we raise our glasses without hope
The church where sin and Satan came to elope
I saw love here with bleeding eyes
Whispering to me the words of the wise
My child you could be blessed with seven lives
But you are not stronger than temptation
And only Lazarus survives
Join me by the river to watch the loved escape
I’ll show you all the wonders of this purgatory
Remember gods have taken every shape
Including the saviours without the glory
I can taste the world inside your fragile lips
Magick of thousands of years will protect
The holy breath locked inside your kiss
Such wonders in these walls could never remain perfect

For these creatures cause me to defy
Deliver me from the flaws in my creation

Ok,i havent written for a while,but then again ive been tossed about like an emotional punchbag for quite a while.This is a little piece about where i am and how it feels.But dont you worry your pretty little heads about it.its just life,and nobody gets out alive.

For some reason you think that I dont like this....
For my contest I asked people to basically define why they are broken. What has made them broken. I expected full break down. Deep, dark, inner poetry. This is a great write. I really do like it.
