She stands there with
fishing pole in hand
Not a nibble or one she
can put in the frying pan
She waits for the moment
For the fish have already ate
and not ready to leave this land
She is patient for awhile
Then packs up her
stuff with a smile
I will be back when
your luck runs out
My belly will be
full of a tasty trout

Ah, patience has its just rewards. ;-)

Hahahah...this was just too delightful!! I love to fish as well and only know too well the frustration of not even getting a bite but in the end patience is a much rewarded virtue!! Very well done and thank you for your entry!

I like it. Especially this part:
"For the fish have already ate
and not ready to leave this land"
