Rape is all about controlling another person. If a rapist can take your body, he can hold you in fear forever. As long as you keep it from your mind, he can't take the satisfaction of control any longer. Bless you.

I relate to this poem so well. As a victum of rape I saw this as more than just words on paper but memories past. You may no remember me but years ago I was on this sight often and you often gave me words of such encouragement. They ment the world to me...My dream has been realized and I wish to be a famous poet. If you could return to some of my newer work and tell me what you think it would mean the absolute world to me! Again, incredible work!

This is deeply malevolent, it gave me the creeps. I think that anyone who really touches us remains forever, good or ill. Good work, this opens our eyes to the continuing trauma of so many.

my favorite line is:

I have often heard that about rape, for why the hell would a guy rape an old lady or a young child, so I guess it must be more than just sex to these sick people. Fear is so strong, sometimes its so strong it ruins ones life, makes one unable to concentrate on what goes around around them. Your poem really explained why a person might even think about doing something so horrible.. I guess people thrive on making people feel like crap, then again its all about the control..
