So many things can happen in a matter of days
And as I fell for you I realized just how much
You took my hand in a Subway inside Walmart
My nerves jumped for you
You gave me my first french kiss at the gas station lot
My body went into shock
Our first argument was in a McDonalds
My heart was wrenched with sadness
I first tickled you playing Pictionary at a hang out
My breath caught when you made those sounds
The very first spar was at the park
My determination was met with challenge
The first win was at the fooze ball table
My anxiousness was so high
And as we had first met in person
So shy was I
My friends encouraging me
And my face ablush
But as I faced you
You were so anxious to touch me
Just a brush
A hug
Then our good bye after three days
Three days of happiness
Of exploration and learning
Testing the limits and
Nudging the lines
And finally
I had to watch you drive away
Promised to be strong for you
I had to watch your tail lights fade over the hill
For the last time


I can still feel you with me
I can feel your presence in everything I do
But your touch is vacant
And your eyes only  in my memory
Still I'll never forget
And I'll never falter
I'll be strong for you
Because now you're mine
And I am yours
And I won't ever let you go
