I want to wake up next to you and always see your beautiful face
I want to hold you tight and never let you out of my embrace
I just want to hold you forever, safe in my arms
I won't ever let you go and never do you any harm
You are my whole life
I'm glad I made you my wife
Because I wouldn't be able to bear
If you and I weren't a pair
I want to watch the sunset with you
I want to take long strolls like we used to
I want to build us a home
One that we can call our own
I want us to grow old together
And be there for each other forever
The best is yet to be, my love
For our life
For our love
For you and me
I want us to be in our rockers when we're old and gray
And I'll be saying "I love you, and I will tell you even though were old, every day."
I want us to have children to tuck in at night
And when they cry we'll hold them tight
And reassure them that everything will be alright
I want us to be able to recall all of the good times we've had
And all of our memories together that made us glad
I know we have a long way to go
But I thought that you should know
Now and forever
I'll always love you and never let go
I want to wake up next to you for the rest of my life
And continue our journey together as man and wife

Awww, I love this. I usually don't like rhyming poems, but this one is very sweet.
I hope you show this to your wife.
Very nice write. -

Thank you so much! I really appreciate it... Haha, this is actually a poem for school (I'm a 14 year old girl in 8th grade). I wanted to step into the shoes of a boy, and here it is...
