You know I'll love you endlessly, with each bit of my heart,
But there is something you've been pondering from the very start
"What is it that I do", you ask, "that makes you feel this way?"
"But what," I ask, "does a rainbow do to light a cloudy day?"
Can a butterfly appreciate the beauty it conveys,
or does the springtime sun contemplate how it warms us with its rays?
Your presence beautifies my life, like sunlight sparkles in the dew,
You've made my world a brighter place, just by being you.
