"Mike's Movers", move belongings quick,
They'll be in and out, nice and slick,
Their truck will be loaded tip to tip,
With your belongings, ready to ship,
You had no idea it could be done,
Your home packed up and moved by a quarter-to-one,
You came home that day just for some lunch,
Just a sandwich, chips, and some fruit punch,
Only to find, nothing was there,
No TV, no sofa, no re-Frigidaire,
No shoes in the closet, the golf clubs gone too,
This was upsetting, they're brand-fucking new,
My pants, my shirts, my wife's mini-skirts,
Our plants, this hurts, our fountain that squirts,
The pictures and the table we ate at,
Our scriptures and I'm able to hate that,
It all, packed-up and moved, done nicely I'd say,
The floor completely spotless, but for a business card that lay,
In the center of the room faced up and turned about,
A card saying simply,
"We move you while you're out!",
"I never ordered movers",
"I ordered none" I said,
Realizing I'd been robbed,
And had no where to rest my head,

Fun piece here, love the humor. I don't usually love a change in the rhyme scheme, but I realize that for the last stanza here it might add to the emphasis a bit. It's nice to see another poet writing humor on this site, there aren't all that many of us (and I've been writing more serious pieces myself recently. Thanks for the reminder of how fun humor is.)
