Father's Heart

Don't believe the lie that I have rejected you
For that is something Not of Me
And the pain that trembles through your limbs
Is not something condoned by me -
Listen to your heart
And if you hear it sing purely
Then surely it belongs to Me.

I Am your Father,
The angels bow before me;
Look into the sky
Or into your mother's loving eyes
Because all the signs of Paradise
Are obliged to fall back and show Me.

Glory on the throne
Comes from the Father's Heart
You look all around
Lost for how to begin,
But if you seek me
You will find the Truth
And I will rule within.

I will rule a more Just rule
Than any you have found,
I will be there to fight off Darkness
And bring peace into your heart
And when the air is clear
And when you feel a breaking of your fear,
It will be
Because I have
Become the King there.

I love you and want to wrap you
In these arms that won't let you fall:
Not Forsaking you
Or breaking you
My strength will let you stand tall.
Endowing Divine power into your limbs
I will set your spirit free
I am one in Christ's blood
And thus you are One with me.

Grace flows Freely
And it keeps on coming through,
And as long as you long to be near me,
I will give you hope anew.
You don't owe anything little one
Because your price was Paid
And it is in the arms that encircle you
That your future is meant to be laid.

If you let yourself go with me
As Moses into the reeds
I will be your basket
Fulfil the things you need;
Don't feel shy,
Just open your heart and give it to me
To your stronghold and your Daddy...
I will heal it with tenderness, mercy and gentleness
And in feeling these things
You're feeling Me.
