Hey, I like this Haiku and I think that it says a lot about you. Except for the high school part. We all go through life changing in some ways everyday. It is to bad that death is always looming in the future. Good job God Bless, Penny

13 is my lucky number. I had a blast at that age, as I can faintly recall.
I had two jobs on the 13th floor og corporate America high rises, that were just the best, pay, cush, ya know! My youngest daughter was born on the 13th and she was easiest birth giving out of four. My birthday is 113 (Nov. 3)
This haiku which is one of my favorite forms of writing is so detalied that it would take me another 50 or so words to really get into the depth of it, so for now I'll say, if they (kids)only knew, what we know now. Have to live it to know, and then sometimes we still don't learn. Hindsight is an awesome trick. This is excellent. Good luck with the contest. I love your work, and I will be back to read that interview later. Be well!

Teens do live on the edge, thinking that they are exempt. I have one that defys death weekly, I could kill him!
Excellent haiku! You are real good with sentiments and exact emotions! Not too far removed from those years, huh?
