Written in the Stars

I am the bearer of water, the carrier of rainfall,
The life force of growth, the rainforest in bloom.
I bring laughter and joy, the inner workings of the mind.
I am light and air and the being of true friendship.

I am the late summer sun reflected off dark emerald leaves
I am the virgin that harvests the ripe golden corn,
I am purity and perfection, I am Midas reborn.
I am the salt of the earth and the spirit of the fields.

I am cold to the touch, dead fallen leaves,
The memories of Autumns past flow in my veins
I am envy and dark passion and the hidden underworld
I am fluid and deep, I am water's Worlds End.

I am written in the stars, I am complex and a riddle
I am flesh and bone, but I am part of the living.

    I definitely liked how this was written. It filled my mind with an abundance of imagery and scenarios while I was reading. Truly well done! I want to thank you for your entry into the following contest: "To Be Put On My Favorites List."

    I like your descriptions in this, but maybe not starting the majority of lines with I.

    I'm very picky, so i'm pointing out bits of everyones poems. It's just my personal opinion so do what you want really.

    these are my favorite line.
    Lines 2,5 and 9 needs a capital (I)

    this is a beautiful poem. this is ther first time i have ever read a poem like this and i loved it. i love how you added so much description. i could actully see some of the things you were discussing.

    This is beautiful. I love the imagery you have used, though I also suggest breaking this into smaller stanzas to allow your reader a pause-and-reflect moment.
