These are the moments that we remember most of all:
Your first step
your first word
your gleaming smile
your cheerful laugh
your beautiful name that we gave you
as time went on
you saw more of these moments
how smart you were getting
your eternal energy
your goals
your dreams
and what you aspired to be
They grew older and as
they went through stages.
sizes. and grades
you began to wonder
what college?
what teachers?
how are they doing?
will they remember me?
and at that point you felt proud.
Proud that you had raised a
wonderful, smart, and creative child.
A child soon to be an adult.
The cycle
continues
