Can you see me?
Can you feel the tears I’ve cried for you
Piling up at my feet
Trying to consume me whole
Drowning, drowning
I’m dying for you, because of you
Still I try for you, cry for you
To be with you
I’ve covered all my scars
The ones I’ve given myself because of you
I’ve covered my face for you
Painted it to match everyone else
Lost, I’ve lost myself
Somewhere between who I am and who I was
There on the ground lies my figure
I scream at myself to get up
To fight this fight and return
So the person I was would be who I am
But it’s all to no avail
Who I was can never be who I am again
I’m lost, ruined
Cutting myself again and again
I just hope you know it’s all for you
