delightfull darkness

Darkness envelopes me.
Standing as time passes by,
in this endless moment.
Twenty four years,
do not enter this lightfilled key.
Tones changing,
minds asking why.

Liers still lie,
people still die.
Smell the roses,
as the thorn exposes,
imposes upon this so called life.

  • welcome to all poetry

Wonderful write, although I'm not sure of the use of elopes in the first line. Love the final three lines, great closing.
