.
the way your hands stroked my locks aside made me freeze frame,
I swear that moment I was complete;
your fingers interlocked with mine and you whispered my name and I sigh,
knowing there is no other place I'd rather be than laying in your arms
and remembering the way you pronounce each letter in the alphabet.
This was beautiful, as we slowly faded into dreamland
and your words echo my slumber and I hear you breathe;
then we woke up and it was all gone.
