Some friend you were,
Letting me down,
Standing on the shore,
Letting me drown.
Some friend you were,
Using me,
Your twisted words,
Confusing me.
Some friend you were,
Behind my back,
You whispers dance,
Mental attack.
Some friend you were,
A painted smile,
Was on your face,
Real purpose vile.
Some friend you were,
Letting me go,
I was in love with you,
Did that not show?
Some friend you were,
You angered me,
What will it take,
For you to see?
Some friend you ARE,
Laughing alone,
Hang up when I,
Pick up the phone.
Some friend you ARE,
Leading me on,
A throne of hurt,
I sat upon.
You'll read this and say,
'It's not true',
But I've never seen anyone,
Cold as you.
Consider this...
Your selfish ways,
Are drowning me...
I died today.

Whoa.
This is awesome.
My favorite two lines were:
"You whispers dance,
Mental attack."
That's a very unique concept and is worded very well.
Did you mean YOUR whispers dance, though? It looks to me like you left out the letter "r".
Overall, wonderful job.

A wonderful display of emotion and resentment. Raw, and to the point! Beautiful use of meter and rhyme. You pen so proficiently, great job!

So original. I love it. It deserves a trophy. The rhyming was ,as the previus poet said, simple but it was so good. I loved it there are no other words for it.
Bravo.
Thanks for the awesome Entry.
