Good bye my friend
The time has come to say good bye,
My heart is shattered, I want to die.
You took my being and made it soar,
You’ve touched me, seen me right to my core.
Take this knife, now trust it, hold it nice and tight,
From my belly, twist it, move up, yes that’s right.
Guttered I lay here on the cold marble floor,
Was knowing me really that much of a chore?
As the tears stream from my swollen eyes,
The marble stains in hues of crimson dyes.
Left alone now to battle my fears,
Drowning in a pool of bloody tears.
In truth I thought you were friend,
Now, I see it was a means to an end.
Author notes
yet another long overdue class assignment. (ponders if the tardiness will get me some punishment *evil giggle*)
