A drug induced sleep
After a quiet prayer
A plea
A dream
I lay in my broken high
And I can almost feel your touch
And if I close my eyes
It's like you're here again
In my last glimmer of hope
I try to believe you are still with me
So I can fall asleep for the first time
Since you left forever
In my drug induced sleep
I can see you stand before me
Naked, perfect, beautiful
You never left
I dream you take me in your arms
Oh, how I miss this flowery scent
I dream your quiet whisper
Oh, how I miss this beautiful voice
I dream you lay me on the bed
And our lips meet
And our bodies intertwine
As we loose ourselves in raw passion
And everything feels so real
And everything feels so perfect
And I wish to never wake
From my drug induced sleep
But in the morning I wake
And I pray it was real
And I pray it was not a dream
And I pray you are beside me
What lays next to me, not you
Yet a single red rose, with a note attatched
And a glimmer of faded hope rises in me
As I open to read
"I never left"

Wow! This is so romantically sensual. When sensuality is natural, each expression of its essence is like the first ever. Beautiful story line and flow. The emotion in this piece is contagious and most enticing. A most enjoyable read, and best wishes in the comp
