Isa 65:17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.
Re 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from YAH out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her Husband.
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of YAH is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and YAH Himself shall be with them, and be their Elohim. [Mighty One]

simple, but i would've liked more substance. for instance, the passages in your author notes would've been great woven into your poem. regardless, thanks for entering!

Perhaps I'll write another about Heaven on earth, but this is a Haiku/Senryu Japanese style form poetry which only consists of 3 lines [in the short of it!]. I always post scripture if the inspiration [His] calls for it. Thanks for bringing this to my attention 'cause I just noted that I didn't categorize this as BibleKu! Look for more substance in my various writes [over 2000 posted now!] Thanks for running this Contest. I know [from His Word] much about this subject that would make many heads spin & sadly reject. Whatever I write that's inspired by Him & not accepted means that He is being rejected, I'm merely His scribe. 
Perhaps you could run more Bible related contests & I'll be sure to give you meat!
Just invite me & see what happens!

i didn't even count the syllables, and so didn't realize it was a haiku. haha sorry. that should have been obvious.

It's not a norm to count as your reading, though I do it often 'cause I'm a haijin [Haiku writer] & so usually recognize them right off. It would've been easy for you to ascertain if you looked at the Categories! Well, thanks for running this Contest 'cause it gave me a good BibleKu even if I do say so myself IMHO.
