My planet Mzxpolc, shown shot out of the galaxy by the supernova Icschstismistannibananni.
My planet sustains life via internal heat, so we have no need for a local sun.

This a pic of a stray-planet get-together we had. Here we are doing a line-dance to a disco beat.
Note the party crashers...

Here is a friend from stray planet Bgmomgh, having a great time at the party.
He's obviously high-wired on Gumpa juice.

Here is my pet spore. You can find one on any orb around the galaxy.

This is a shot of the party I took from the surface of my planet.

Here we are on our first tour of earth, courtesy of Interplanetary Tours.

One tourist even grabbed himself a new mate!

How do we get our planets around? We beseech the planet mover.
Well, thanks for the visit. Don't forget to purchase one of our souvenir t-shirts on the way out.

----- Poem-Thing
From a Pinpoint on the Star Chart I Came
From a pinpoint on the star chart I came,
beyond imaginings;
carrying my astro-photographic complement of gear to
capture the dazzling
in a brief instant, freezing the fluid universe in a static image
for your marveling
in a multi-spectrum spectacularity with the alien flavor of
celestial gatherings…
I’ve taken you on a small journey, a short trek
into the rich diversity
that you’ve only begun to witness, to discover
through strict scientific methodology
It is into the celestial realm that I aim to take you
if rather aimlessly
to impart astronatural information for one of your oldest sciences,
that of astronomy.
So until your first bona-fide cosmic contact
with an extraterrestrial,
I’ll take you one step beyond your conventional space-opera myths
into the surreal,
to stimulate your conceptualization of what may be out there
this very minute
though, contrary to the usual pan-galactic presentations,
I've added a dash of levity to it.

the poem-thing is a unique form poem; though it has recognizable structure, it is loose enough in form and rhythm to allow for creative mini-meanderings.
