You have a heart like cyanide,
ready to break down my insides
& leave them as scarred remains.
I wont fight the truth; you've died inside and it's because of me,
but you hide the truth so well, I wont pretend it doesn't hurt that you pass me by,
I'm not afraid to say, loving you hurts more each day,
why wont you hate me so we can move on?
Lets work this out in time, before we both walk away forever.

Love the title.
'You have a heart like cyanide,
ready to break down my insides
& leave them as scarred remains.' - I really like how this stanza just jumps into the subject of your piece.
I really like your take on my prompt, different than I expected.
I'm impressed.
Thank you for entering my contest, and good luck.
